For millennia, the people of Hyrule have been at war with an ancient foe- Ganon, the King of Evil. Long ago, he attempted to seize the sacred artifact known as the Triforce, and use its power for conquest.

It was in the darkest hour that a savior came forward. From the forests, a young man dressed in green, who carried the sword of evil's bane, emerged to battle Ganon for the fate of the world. Joining forces with Princess Zelda and the Ancient Sages, Link sealed Ganon away in the Dark World.

Having attained the power of the Gods, however, the Thief King had become immortal. Knowing that the Dark World could not hold him forever, the gods declared that, should the seal ever grow weak enough for Ganon to return to Hyrule, Link and Zelda would be reborn to stand against him.

The War between the people of Hyrule and the Cult of Ganon has raged throughout millennia. Throughout the various battle between Ganon and the Heroes, both sides have learned the patterns which govern their conflict. Now, the time has come again for this epic battle to take place. However, something is not quite right. Link has been corrupted, and is under the command of Agahnim, High Priest of Ganon.p>

Now, Link must learn the secrets of his past, and why these two sides are battling for his loyalty. But he will not face these choices alone. He will be joined by Marin - a farm girl with powerful magic and even more powerful friendship. She is a hottie. Shiek - the mysterious bodyguard to the princess. Jet - a Zola warrior loyal to the Zora king, and ashamed of his people's betrayal. And Oak- a Deku scrub with much to learn about the art of heroism.

The fate of Hyrule hinges on Link's decision- will he accept his destiny, and save Hyrule- or will he become lost in his anger and selfishness, destroying the world along with himself? That's a stupid thing to do.
